Hey everyone! Much like most people my age, I've become increasingly nostalgic for the vibe and sounds of the late 90s and early 2000s. It seems like a stroke of amazing luck then that I just so happened to got hired to mix some of Beachmont's songs which capture this longing for an easier time so perfectly.
Bowling Shoes in particular was a ton of fun to mix and master because we were trying to capture the sound of those one-hit wonder, oddball artists that strode the line between rock and pop - with records that often sounded like glorified demo tapes.
I certainly think we managed to capture some of the quirkiness and I hope you'll enjoy checking out the track.
