Immerse Yourself in Quiet Creeks of Vermont

Hey everyone!

I'm excited to announce the release of my first sound effects library of 2024! This one is library of ambience recordings captured in the beautiful woods near Hardwick, Vermont. There, I found a couple of creeks entirely undisturbed by anthropogenic noise. Naturally, I had to capture their pristine serenity, and I wanted to do so in an way that would fully immerse the listener in these beautiful soundscapes.

Naturally, my choice of recording mic fell on the RØDE NT-SF1 Ambisonic microphone. This mic captures a 360-degree sound sphere that allows you to adjust your virtual listening position after recording and even convert the recordings into immersive surround formats like Dolby Atmos.

Thus, this library makes for incredible long-form source material whenever an immersive environment requires the sounds of flowing water. Encoded as AmbiX Ambisonic B-Format files, these ambiences can immediately be utilized in VR environments, while included stereo versions make dragging & dropping them into any project a breeze.
